Site work for a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
HS310Q - Flood Elimination School: Queens Collegiate School (HS310Q) (Queens) The project is located at 167-01 Gothic Drive, Jamaica, NY 11432 (the "Site"). Final Completion - 510 continuous calendar days from NTP date. $1,500,001 - $4,000,000 Design No.: D022241 The Contractor shall make and demonstrate good faith efforts to achieve the SCA's goal that a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of all subcontracted work be performed by SCA and/or New York City ("City") certified minority, women and/or local based enterprises (MWLBEs). The cost of materials purchased from a SCA certified MWLBE may be substituted for subcontracted work in an amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the total MWLBE subcontracted value for ALL projects. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Exterior Repair Work: 1. Excavation, removal, and replacement of damaged areaways. 2. Replacement of areaway drains and connections to storm drainage system. 3. Replacement of areaway grating and guardrails. 4. Replacement of sunken exterior drains. 5. Install membrane waterproofing below areaway slabs to below basement slab. 6. Removal of asphalt parking lot and restoration of the lawn. Interior Repair Work: 1. Replacement of damaged piping leading to roof drains. 2. Replaster and paint water damaged walls adjacent to areaways. STRUCTURAL 1. Removal partial existing areaway concrete walls. Rebuild new concrete areaway walls on top of existing areaway wall with dowels as indicated on the drawings. 2. Remove existing areaway floor slabs and replace with new to match existing as indicated on the drawings. PLUMBING 1. Remove existing damaged storm sewer pipes in the attic space and replace with new. CIVIL 1. Removal and replacement of the existing site features (I.e. concrete pavement, landscaping, and areaway concrete) to support the drainage work at the site. 2. A stormwater retention system is being installed to manage the stormwater from part of the building. The stormwater retention system includes area drains, a grit chamber, and retention drywell systems. There is also a number of areaways and area drains being removed, replaced and reconnected to the existing drainage piping around the building.
