Renovation of a detention facility in Soledad, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes and fees to furnish, deliver and install three (3) garage doors at CAL FIRE San Benito - Monterey Unit (BEU) Gabilan Camp at 31801 McCoy Road in Soledad, CA 93940. Contractor shall install three (3) garage doors with the following: 1) Insulated 24/24 Gauge Rolling Curtain Slat Commercial Door 2) Underwriters Laboratories (U.L) and Compliance, Safety, Accountability (C.S.A) labeled doors and components (if applicable) 3) Minimum 1/2 Horsepower (HP), hoist motor with commercial three (3) button control station (Open, Close, and Stop) 4) Commercial Photo Eyes (CPS-U) Photo Electric sensors which must be floor level with an emergency chain hoist. 5) Two button transmitters to open doors remotely 6) Solenoid brake to lock the door in the stationary position 7) Floor level disconnect for manual operation in the event of a power loss or failure 8) Full overload protection 9) Heavy duty gearbox with gears running in oil bath 10) Reliable limit switches to stop the door at the open/close position 11) Photo safety eyes B. Contractor shall securely mount the motor with heavy duty brackets. C. Contractor shall run wire and a conduit up to five (5) feet. D. Contractor shall provide electrical connections to the existing, dedicated power supply. Dedicated power supply will be provided at the mandatory walkthrough. E. Contractor shall lubricate all motoring parts and make necessary adjustments to complete door system. F. Contractor shall test installed garage doors. G. CAL FIRE Project Representative will conduct a Final Inspection, and a Notice of Completion will be issued.
