Reference Number 0000283866 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/12/20 04:30:00 PM MST Consulting Services for production of hazardous building material assessments and hazardous material management plans for multiple buildings. The purpose of this procurement is to complete hazardous building material surveys and hazardous material management plans for Alberta Infrastructure facilities as identified within this bid document. The project scope is as follows: 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS SUBMISSION a) State the qualifications, awards and/or certifications your company has obtained relevant to the Work. b) Confirm that services (services and materials, or materials) can be supplied as per scope of work. Any additional services that would benefit the owner may also be mentioned. c) Identify members of the team that you propose to engage in this project. Attach their resume and provide a team organizational chart. d) List projects with similar or larger scope that you have managed in the last five years with minor details on scope. e) Provide three company references from other projects of similar scope and scale. f) Confirm if the bidder can cover all the technical areas mentioned in the scope of work. g) Confirm availability to perform work subject to proposed schedule. h) The bidder is responsible for any parking requirements. 2. EDON ON-BOARDING Any successful bidder is required to be on the Edon's approved subcontractor/vendor list. The requirements to become an approved vendor are listed below. This information is required to be provided upon request after bid closure: i) WCB Clearance Letter and rate summary ii) Certificate of General Liability $5,000,000 and Automobile Insurance Liability $2,000,000. Comprehensive Crime Insurance no less than $50,000. Additional named insured: Edon Properties Inc. o/a Edon Management 1441 Hastings Cres SW Calgary, AB T2G 4C8 iii) Signed Criminal Records Check Acknowledgement iv) Signed Subcontractor Quality Policy Compliance Form v) Valid Certificate of Recognition (COR) or equivalent compliance with Edon's safety program 3. HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIAL SURVEY AND ASSOCIATED SAMPLING a) Perform hazardous building material surveys and associated sampling as per the attached (Appendix A) Alberta Infrastructure Hazardous Building Material Assessment Scope of Work. b) Produce hazardous material surveys, and associated sampling, for each building identified on the building list. 4. HAZARD MATERIAL MANAGEMENT PLAN DEVELOPMENT a) Develop hazardous material management plans as per the attached (Appendix B) Alberta Infrastructure Hazardous Materials Management Plan Scope of Work. b) Produce hazardous material management plans for each building identified on the building list. c) Produce electronic summary of all hazardous materials for each building in tabular format at per Alberta Infrastructure Scope of Work, their attached Appendix A. A pre-formatted Microsoft spreadsheet will be provided to successful bidders upon award of contract(s). 5. BUILDING LIST AND GROUPINGS a) Appendix C, Building List and Groupings identifies all of the buildings that are applicable to the Work. b) Architectural line drawings will be issued to the successful bidder(s). c) Contracts may be awarded by Building Group or in total.
