The City of Mesa seeks to provide a new state-of-the-art 911 public safety communications center, complete with the required infrastructure, floor space, technology, and environmental features to provide a reliable, efficient, safe, and secure 911 call center to meet the current and future demands of the City of Mesa. Programming phase through final design services shall involve a coordinated assessment and coordination with the Project Team, consisting of assigned members from the City of Mesa Engineering, Fire, Police, Public Safety Support, Communications, and Information Technology Departments. The design firm will develop reports, technical recommendations and construction documents to address necessary features of a new public safety communications center, and if required, tenant improvements for other existing facilities which may include, but not be limited to the following: Building size and footprint Recommended architectural and aesthetic features or themes Floor space planning for workspace and workflow efficiency Ergonomic and environmental considerations Command Center and emergency dispatch infrastructure Kitchen, dining and restroom facilities Information Technology, Data Storage and Audio/Visual Communications Training and classroom facilities Re-Programming and Tenant Improvements for existing communications facilities Site selection and planning.
