Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elizabeth, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of November 12, 2025, board awarded project. The Village of Elizabeth is accepting Statements of Qualifications from consultants for Engineering services (PE2 & PE3) for its Downtown Sidewalk and Roadway Improvement Project. The Village of Elizabeth was awarded an IDOT ITEP grant, with grant funds being allocated for construction engineering/observation services and for construction of the overall sidewalk/roadway project. The Village's project is in the Downtown District. The project will include improvements on Main St/Highway 20. The scope of construction entails a complete removal and reconstruction of the sidewalk network, roadway, bump outs, decorative lighting, curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain, pavement patching, and related work. The Statement of Qualifications must not contain any cost information. All proposals shall include a conflict-of-interest form. Proposals will be evaluated, and at least 2 consultants will be short-listed and considered for this project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
