The bid opening originally scheduled for today at 11AM has been rescheduled to 11:00AM Monday, January 13, 2025. The Town Board of Riverhead will receive bids for the following contract: 203 213 East Main Street Sewer Design Contract S - Sewers Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a certified check made payable to the TOWN OF RIVERHEAD as assurance that the bid is made in good faith. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the lowest responsible bid. Plan deposits are not required. No hard copies of the bid plans will be issued. All bid documents shall be obtained from the Town of Riverhead website in electronic PDF format. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, suppliers, equipment and other facilities necessary or proper for, or incidental to, the work contemplated by this contract as required by, and in strict accordance with the applicable Plans and Specifications and Addenda prepared by the Town Engineer and/or required by, and in strict accordance with, such changes as are ordered and approved pursuant to this contract, and will perform all other obligations imposed on him by this contract. It is specifically understood that this contract does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantities of work. Quantities will be as ordered by the Town from time to time, and unit bid prices will govern. The quantities in the proposal are for bidding purposes only.
