Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Baruch College of The City University of New York seeks to procure installation services, including all necessary labor and professional expertise, for the installation of Meraki cameras, network cabling, and the mounting of network switches, as outlined by the College's specifications pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law &163(6). This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State businesses certified according to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law. A copy of the specifications can be downloaded from the document section of this advertisement. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Section 5- Scope of Work 5.1 The Contractor will provide the labor for the installation of cameras, data cabling, mounting of network switches and the cabling required for those cameras in various location as requested by the College in the numberrequested by the College and at the timesrequested by the College during the term of the Contract. 5.2 The contractor shall run structured cabling to connect cameras to network switches. a) Perform cable termination to camera and patch panel and testing for connectivity b) Follow the College's documentation requirements for networking cabling (see Exhibit A) c) Test each CAT6A cable and provide certification for each 5.3 The contractor shall install Meraki Cameras a) Mount and secure Meraki cameras at designated locations. b) Contractor shall document the location of camera on floor plan and provide serial number/location list for each camera installed c) Ensure alignment and operating as expected d) The contractor shall remove existing camera's where necessary to install the new camera Baruch COLLEGE RFQ2425027-Meraki Camera Installation Services 6 5.4 The contractor shall mount and install Meraki switches as required a) This include documenting the location and serial number of each switch b) Also connecting the uplink port to the top of rack switch in the network closet Section 6 - Work Rules 6.1 Contractor shall provide services only on Mondays through Fridays, 7:00AM to 3:00PM, not including College holidays and not including daysthat College may otherwise be closed, unless prior arrangements are made through the College Representative. The College reserves the right to modify the hours at its discretion as deemed necessary. 6.2 Contractor shall require its employees and subcontractors to contact and check in with the College's Public Safety Office and College Representative at the start of each day when they arrive on College's premises whenever they are scheduled to be at the College. 6.3 Contractor's employees shall wear and display prominently on their persons identification cards that include the individual's photograph and Contractor's name and the individual's first and last names in clear, and legible type, while on College or University property. 6.4 Contractor shall ensure that its employees and agents follow all College rules and regulations. 6.5 Contractor shall contact the College Representative or its designee to arrange for access to the site, delivery of materials and/or equipment uses from the College's facilities. 6.6 Contractor shall request and obtain approval from the College at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance for use of freight elevators or the receiving platform. 6.7 Contractorshallsupply allservices and equipment necessary to complete all installation to the site. The contractor shall be responsible for all Materials or Equipment left at the site or anywhere on the College's premises. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that College will not provide any staging or storage areas on College's campus unless Contractor obtains prior written approval from the College in advance for same. 6.8 Contractor shall coordinate its Work in and around the Site(s) and with any other contractors or suppliers that may be providing services in the vicinity to prevent duplication of effort, disruption of College's schedule, and any damage to already completed work. Contractor shall protect from damage all property at College while delivering materials and while performing the Work. Contractor shall provide College-approved replacement materials and install such materials within five (5) business days following notification of damage from College at no expense to College. 6.9 Contractor shall execute and complete all Work to the full satisfaction and approval of College. No Phone Calls or Fax Will Be Accepted Any purchase that results from this advertisement shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this advertisement (including without limitation, any attached specifications and any other terms and conditions attached hereto or incorporated herein by reference) and by the University's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions and Appendix A, Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts which are incorporated herein by reference with the same effect as it is written.
