Work of this Contract involves the installation/upgrade of the electrical infrastructure to accomodate the futre installation of level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) at 451 Talbot Street, London. Bid Securities Mean a Bid Bond and Suretys Consent as Defined Below: (a) Bids Submitted at $100,000 or Greater Shall Include the Following by the Closing Date and Time: I. A Bid Bond in a Commercially Reasonable Form or an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit Issued by a Financial Institution Authorized to Conduct Business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank in the Amount of at Least 10% of the Bid Price and That Shall Be in Effect Until Ninety (90) Calendar Days Following Closing Date. And Ii. A Surety's Consent Indicating That, in Accordance With Section 5.18.1. Of This Itt, the Surety Company Will Furnish the Contract Security Which Shall Include a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Materials Payment Bond of the Bid Price or a Consent From the Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank That an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit in the Amount of 50% of the Bid Price Will Be Furnished. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the Richard Pierpoint Building, 451 Talbot Street, London, ON, N6A 5E5 at the main security desk on the first floor. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email, and on behalf of their authorized representative or their authorized representatives including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 of the ITT document to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s representative(s) being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the site visit.
