Approximate quantities involved are as follows: Estimated Project Quantities: The City of Albemarle is not responsible for bidders relying on incomplete bid documents. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 10 a.m., in the Raymond I. Allen Community Room #118, City of Albemarle, 144 North Second Street, Albemarle NC 28001, to discuss the project and answer pertinent questions. No oral +/- 3,470 TN S9.5-C Asphalt Surface Course (Fiber Reinforced) +/- 27,430 SY Asphalt Milling - Various Depths +/- 48 TN Asphalt Pavement Patching Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) ofthe amount ofthe Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract documents shall be submitted in writing to Ross Holshouser, by email at rholshouser@ci.albemarle.nc.us . Replies will be issued by Addenda, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after 11:00am on January 10th, 2025 may not be answered. Only questions answered by written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. An Addenda answering all questions received by email or at the Pre-bid meeting will be issued by 5:00 pm on January 10th, 2025.
