The work shall consist essentially of the following items: 1) Milling/Resurfacing of the segment of Beasley Road, NW Industrial Parkway, and NW Progress Parkway as indicated on the plans. The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Contract time shall be 120 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day the Work has not achieved Final Completion. Bids shall be made out on the bid proposal form to be provided, sealed in an envelope and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Bid for BEASLEY ROAD/NW INDUSTRIAL PARKWAY/NW PROGRESS PARKWAY RESURFACING". Each bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Bids and EBO Plans shall be submitted in triplicate, sealed, and deposited with the City Clerk's Office, City Hall - 219 South President Street, Jackson, Mississippi prior to the hour and date hereinbefore designated.
