The City of West Fork, Arkansas will receive sealed bids for asphalt paving of the existing gravel parking lot at Carter Park, 17 Riverwood. The project consists of approximately 40,000 square feet of paving (200' x 200') at a minimum pavement depth of 2 inches. Total estimated asphalt paving is 565 tons. Project must be completed no later than February 28, 2025 Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to The City of West Fork, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. Also, The City of West Fork encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 120 days from the bid opening date.
