Description: The work consists essentially of the following estimated quantities: 1 105.165 REMOVE COMBINATION CURB AND GUTTER LF 36.00 2 501.400 ADJUST UTILITY VALVE BOX TO GRADE EA 10.00 3 502.100 CONSTRUCT 6" COMBINATION CURB AND GUTTER LF 36.00 4 503.001 CONSTRUCT 5" PCC SIDEWALK SF 10,009.00 5 504.000 CONSTRUCT CONCRETE CURB RAMP SF 1,368.00 6 504.001 CONSTRUCT DETECTABLE WARNING PANELS EA 36.00 7 1109.000 MOBILIZATION LS 1.00 The amount of the engineer's estimate of the cost of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, fiscal, legal, interest, easement acquisition, and miscellaneous costs) is $180,000.00. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by SEH Engineers, and must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in the amount not less than $9,000.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 631 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. OMA-20221202-6703-GP1 A pre-Bid conference will not be held for this Project.
