The Morse Road Transfer Station ("MRTS"), located at 4262 Morse Road in Columbus, Ohio, 43260, currently operates two (2) Thurman pit truck scales that have reached the end of their usable life and require replacement. These scales are integral to the transfer station's operations, ensuring accurate, reliable, safe, and efficient weighing of vehicles. The new installation aims to upgrade the facility's capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and enhance safety standards, ensuring the station continues to meet operational demands effectively. Installation of New Equipment 1) Install two (2) Thurman 8560 Diamondback Truck Scales (200,000 lb. x 20 lb. capacity with one hundred thousand (100,000) concentrated load capacity). 2) Install two (2) Thurman TS611 Digital Weight Indicators. 3) Install two (2) Matko Remote Displays. Proposer Requests for Information and Addendums. Requests for information from a Proposer shall be submitted in writing only to SWACO Procurement via e-mail at procurement@swaco.org or to SWACO, Attn: SWACO Procurement, 4239 London Groveport Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Any and all such request must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on December 13, 2024. Potential award timeframe: January 2025 SWACO reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or to waive minor irregularities or informalities in the competitive process.
