The work described herein may be contracted in full or by individual section at the Owner's sole discretion. The work described herein consists of site preparation; furnishing, transporting, and installing all seeds, plant materials, and other materials as required for the restoration and establishment of native plant communities; installation of necessary erosion control improvements; management of planting areas; and such additional, extra and incidental work as may be necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all required materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals, unless otherwise provided in the specifications or plans. The bid includes four years of maintenance, final completion date is December 31, 2028. Project areas (Units 1 through 5) are shown on the plans. Some ecological restoration and management work has already been completed in portions of Units 1, 2, and 5. The base bid entails Units 1, 2, and 5; Units 3 and 4 are alternate bid items. All awarded work must be completed per the project specifications and the anticipated schedule, with completion by the end of 2028. Est. Completion Date: Dec. 31, 2028. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety2000 using contract #8841080. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Edina in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
