Site work and paving for a civil project in Cahokia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project Work includes varying lengths of watermain replacement including ductile iron/ PVC watermain piping, pavement removal and replacement, full height granular backfill, fittings, mechanical restrainers, tapping sleeves and valves, line stops, gate valves with valve boxes and lids, fire hydrant assembly, blowoff assembly, granular bedding, clearing, grading, seed and straw, erosion control, traffic control, flagmen, testing, disinfection, all appurtenances and minor details necessary to make the completed improvements fully operational. Project Signs: Project signs shall be furnished and installed at the project location. The project signs shall be 24" vertical by 36" horizontal mounted on two metal T-posts. The signs shall be in color. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check for not less than five percent of the amount of the bid. The federal prevailing rate of wages (Davis Bacon Act) shall be paid throughout the scope of the project. The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal for this project is seventeen percent (17%) of the awarded amount. The OWNER reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all proposals.
