This request for proposals ("RFPs") seeks qualified providers for Parks Backflow, Master Valve, and Hydrometer Installation for West Valley City, Utah Proposals must comply with the requirements of the full Request for Proposals to be considered. The right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all defects is reserved. All questions must be requested at least four days (96 hours) prior to closing West Valley City Parks and Recreation is soliciting proposals to replace or move backflow prevention devices in up to 10 parks in West Valley City. In addition, master valves and hydrometers/flow sensors will be installed, where possible, on properties as listed in Appendix A of this package. Proposals will list whether all items are able to be installed, and pricing will include all materials for installation of listed items in each park. Including shielded wiring of hydrometers/flow sensors and wiring of master valves to the controller as required. Use of Leemco restraint fittings on mainlines 2 inches and up, where 90s, tees, and 45 degree fittings are used to prevent the need for thrust blocks. Quick Coupler assemble to be installed after the master valve. Cages must be attached to a concrete base that is below the RP. All work must be inspected prior to burying, with a pressurized system, which may need to be in the spring due to weather. All proposals must also include repairs of any damage caused as a result of the project.
