The Epping School District (Owner) will receive sealed proposals for asphalt reclamation, site improvements, and pavement markings for 2 locations, the Epping High School and the Epping SAU14 building. Reconstruct the access road and the parking lot. This shall be done by reclamation of the existing pavement and gravel base, fine grading, and compaction. Place two lifts of hot bituminous concrete; 2.5-inches of ¾ binder mix, and 1.5-inches of ½ surface mix. Removal and replacement of existing sidewalk with 3-inches of ½ surface mix. Removal and replacement of existing curb with new vertical granite curb. Resetting of existing catch basins and manholes per NHDOT Standard Specifications. Removal of 3 runs of 12-inch corrugated metal pipe (approximately 30-feet) and replace with 12-inch HDPE pipe. Connections to the three existing basins and underground drainage structure shall be watertight. Rehabilitate the existing drainage pond and treatment swale which includes removing sediment and vegetation, placing geotextile and 12-inches of erosion stone (sized 4” – 8”). Design and construct a connector road from the High School Access Road to the Middle School Access Road. The road shall be 12-feet wide and is approximately 125-feet long. The section of the roadway shall include, embankment conforming to item NHDOT Standard Specification 203.7, 12-inches of 304.4 conforming to NHDOT Standard Specification Table 304-1, and 2.5-inches of ¾ binder mix, and 1.5-inches of ½ surface mix, and necessary safety measures. The design shall be submitted to the Owner for approval, prior to commencing work. Place shoulder gravel along access road. Layout the pavement markings and apply the markings only after approval by the Owner.
