General scope of work: Tree removal/pruning of multiple trees on multiple private and public parcels within the village of Bellaire (Exhibits A-L). There is a combination of trees that will be removed and trees that will be pruned. This decision to remove or prune is at the land owner's discretion. However, if it is determined the tree will not survive the pruning process due to previous pruning, disease or other factors, the tree must be removed. Time of completion: The work which the Contractor is required to perform shall be completed by March 31st 2025. If ground restoration is required, this can be completed after March 31st. Trees need to be removed or pruned by no later than the March 31st. Questions regarding the bid specifications shall be directed to Matthew Wyman at (231) 533- 8524 or wymanm@antrimcountymi.gov. The County of Antrim reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in a bid, and to accept that bid which, in the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, is in the best interest of the County. It is the intention of the Board to award all work to a single contractor. However, the Board also reserves the right to award only a portion of the work.
