Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Burton, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Bentley Community School District (BCSD) through Progressive Companies, the Architect, is soliciting bids for work as follows: BARHITTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Abatement of asbestos material from above ceiling to accommodate roof penetrations. BENTLEY HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL: Abatement of asbestos flooring tile to accommodate the floor penetrations. Bids must contain: a signed Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification and a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships between the Bidder and the Superintendent and/or Board of BCSD. Successful bidders are required to furnish 100% labor and material bond and 100% performance bond depending on the dollar amount of the bid. Instructions are in the bidding documents. BCSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the district's best interest and may select a bidder other than the lowest bidder in accordance with the terms stated in the notice.
