The Joliet Regional Port District intends to engage a qualified Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMAR) for Preconstruction and Construction services for the following project at Chicago-Romeoville Airport (KLOT) in Romeoville, Illinois: Final Build-out for Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the Existing Air Traffic Control Tower (commissioned in December 2022). Procurement and delivery of these services must be in accordance with federal law, including 49 USC 47107(a) (17) and Title 2 CFR 200. The Port District has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) for CMAR Services for this project. Interested firms shall contact the Port District as prescribed below to receive this document, which includes: the Project Description (including 30% concept design documents), the Project Timeline, the Firm Qualifications to be submitted, the proposed Contract format, including Federal and State Contract Provisions for performing the work, the Preconstruction Services to be performed, the weighted evaluation criteria to be used in the selection, and a Proposal Form to be completed by the Respondent for the CMAR Preconstruction Services (Fixed Cost), the CMAR Construction General Conditions Fee (Fixed Cost-Weekly), and the CMAR Profit (Fee). All services/fees shall be paid in accordance with Title 2 CR 200.345, and as prescribed in the RFP. Only those firms registering with the Port District shall receive notice(s) or addenda(s) that may be issued during the proposal preparation period.
