Downtown Revitalization-Phase 1 The Project consists of traffic control; demolition of existing sidewalks, curb & gutter, roadway, and associated facilities; construction of a 2' paver strip for utilities, reconstruction of approximately 620 square yards of sidewalk; 98square yards of concrete crosswalk; 1500 square yards of asphalt roadway with 750 linear feet curb & gutter; reconnection of lighting, irrigation, and stormwater facilities; and permanent installation of benches and garbage receptacles. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted in the prescribed manner and accompanied by a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Blackfoot in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Bidder is required to meet Davis-Bacon wage and American Iron and Steel requirements for this project. Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors License in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho Law. The City of Blackfoot reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the Bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interests of the City of Blackfoot.
