Renovation of an educational facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DUE DATE: SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE The Contractor is to use the design-build procurement process to design, permit and install a new fire alarm system at William Tyson Elementary School. A bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base bid will be required (cash, personal or business checks are unacceptable). The successful Contractor shall be required to furnish 100 percent performance and payment bonds. The D/B contractor shall have the work substantially complete on July 23, 2025 with the final completion date of July 30, 2025. A MOA Certificate of Conditional Occupancy must be in place prior to substantial completion and a MOA Certificate of Occupancy must be in place prior to final completion. Scheduling should include activity during school holidays, evening, and weekend work as the D/B contractor deems necessary to finish the work. (See Section 00200 Project Schedule Milestone Dates). The Anchorage School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding procedures. Stimated construction cost: between $100,000 and $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
