This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Cincinnati, Ohio. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Jennifer Sherman, via email at jennifer.sherman@cincinnati-oh.gov. Contractor shall be experienced in the repair of various makes of overhead doors, rolling doors, sliding doors, gates, swinging gates, electric door operators, gate operators, electric door controls, and personal doors. Contractor shall carry parts in stock for various makes of doors such as hinges, tracks, closers, section roller operator parts, cables, swinging door hinge locksets, thresholds, etc. At a minimum, contractor must carry parts in stock for "overhead door brand" parts to include, in addition to the parts listed above, overhead door brand door operator/openers, transmitters, and receivers. Contractor shall be able to provide twenty-four-hour emergency service, seven days a week. PREVAILING WAGE Routine overhead door maintenance is not a construction activity under ORC 4115.03. The work as described herein is solely for maintenance and parts; therefore, Prevailing Wage does not apply. If a delivery order under this agreement exceeds $75,000.00, a separate Wage Determination must be sent to the Department of Economic Inclusion to determine compliance under ORC 4115.03. The contractor shall not perform any work expected to exceed $75,000.00 without a Wage Determination. If it is determined that Prevailing Wage does apply, the work shall not be performed under this contract and the City will procure the work through a separate procurement process. PARTS GUARANTEE All parts shall be guaranteed for a minimum of one year from the date of installation against defective workmanship and material. PARTS COST VERIFICATION For any parts furnished which have a contractor's cost of $100.00 or more, contractor shall furnish a carbon or direct image copy of the invoice from the contractor's supplier. SERVICE WORK GUARANTEE All work shall be performed in a first-class workmanlike manner in conformance with the best practices of the trade using first quality parts. The contractor shall promptly repair or replace any unit that does not operate properly or fails in any manner because of defective material or workmanship within one (1) year on parts and 90 days on service. Comeback repairs of this type shall be performed strictly at the expense of the contractor and shall incur no additional cost to the City.
