Site work and renovation of a civil project in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, procurement, delivery, and complete installation of replacement clarifier operating mechanisms within two existing 42-foot diameter concrete clarifier basins, including all associated electrical, mechanical, plumbing work; installation of clarifier algae spraydown system(s); installation of 2" effluent non-potable waterline; replacement of existing yard hydrant(s); and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Authority shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Authority may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Authority has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
