The Project generally consists of erosion and sediment control, earthwork, drainage improvements, utility services, concrete and asphalt paving, associated striping, markings and legends ,and landscaping for construction of a new farmers market pavilion and associated bath house. The Project is located on property on the south side of County Road1615, across from Town Hall. Question Deadline 01/06/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 120calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60days from the date of the opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
