The proposed work shall be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days plus State holidays from the Notice to Proceed date, and includes the following major items: Milling of 2,450 SY +/- of Existing Road Surface Removal of 2,000 SY +/- of Concrete Roadway Slabs Installation of 550 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course, 2" Thick Installation of 500 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Base Course, 4" Thick Installation of 250 L.F. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by: a Proposal (Bid) Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, of which, the amount of the bond or certified check need not exceed $20,000, made payable to the "City of Woodbury"; a Non-Collusion Affidavit; and a Consent of Surety as to a Maintenance Bond as per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16.3b. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the City Solicitor and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, to waive any informality, or to accept the bid, which in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Owner.
