The City of Lake Wales will accept bids for asbestos inspection services for two (2) residential properties located in the City of Lake Wales so that they may be rehabilitated with funds from the Small Cities Community Development Block (CDBG) grant program. Inspections shall be performed by NESHAP licensed asbestos inspectors. Reports should indicate any asbestos-containing material located within the interior or exterior of the structures. If asbestos-containing material is present, separate prices shall be submitted for risk assessments with recommendations, Certified Abatement Contractor inspections and clearance testing. The submitted bids shall include base price per house (including time and travel for all services) and unit prices for risk assessment, abatement inspections and clearance testing. Along with your bid, please include your current HUD Certifications for Inspection, Risk Assessment, Abatement Contractor and Clearance Testing.
