The Town of Marana seeks proposals from qualified Contractors to construct the Pavement Preservation FY25 as set forth in the IFB. The Town will not be responsible for the failure of a prospective bidder to obtain addenda and other information related to the IFB. PROJECT LOCATIONS Berry Acres subdivision is located in SECTION 24 of T-ll-S, R-10-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA and SECTION 19 of T-ll-S, R-ll-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. Avra Valley road is located in SECTION 12 of T-12-S, R-10-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA and SECTIONS 7 and 8 of T-12-S, R-ll-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. Camino de Oeste is located in SECTION 36 of T-ll-S, R-12-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA and SECTION 1 of T-12-S, R-12-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. Camino Martin and Jeremy Place are located in SECTION 6 of T-13-S, R-13-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. Decker road is located within SECTION 11 of T-12-S, R-12-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. A The 2025 pavement preservation program consists of preserving 972,520 square yards (SY) ofroadway utilizing (Quickseal (Western Emulsions) 391,056 SY), polymer modified master seal (PMM 501,130 SY), rubberized pre-coated chip seal (67,961 SY) and double shot conventional chip seal (12,373) SY. Camino de Oeste between Corte Sombra de Tecolote and Camino de Oeste currently is a dirt road. This contract shall survey the ROW and regrade a 24' roadway and chip seal. The chip seal shall be a double shot conventional chip. The same treatment shall be applied for approximately 600 If north of Camino de manana. The final roadway shall have 2-11' travel lanes with edge line stripes and double yellow center markings. Surveyor shall layout ROW and roadway centerline prior to grading. Striping will be based ofroadway centerline. Silverbell road currently has a cattle guard just west of Sanders Road. Please include all costs to remove, dispose, compact and patch with AC in the provided line item. The cattle guard dimensions are 8' x 40'. All existing raised pavement markers (RPM) shall be removed and replaced in kind for all roads scheduled in this contract. Massingale road has large elevated chipped shoulders. This contract shall chip only the roadway, excluding shoulders. Chip shall extend to the railroad ROW. A railroad permit may be needed working adjacent to their facilities. Compaction test tests will be required for cattle guard replacements. The costs shall be considered incidental to the contract. The contractor shall account for a minimum of 10 compaction and 2 proctor tests. The work hours for all application types adjacent to residences will be 7:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Nonresidential or commercial districts will have no time restrictions. Bid Alternate B: Continental Reserve Park is located within the northern portion of SECTION 28 of T-12-S, R-12-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. and Continental Ranch Community Park is located within the southern portion of SECTION 21 of T-12-S, R-12-E, G & SRM, PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. Pavement Preservation FY25 Town of Marana Bid No.: 2024-028 The Contractor shall perform all work within the public right-of-way, legally obtained easements, and property legally acquired by the Town of Marana. The Contractor shall assume all responsibility and liability for any encroachment upon private property. The use of private property for construction yards will be allowed only if zoning requirements permit its use for this purpose and ifthe Contractor has provided the Town of Marana with proof of a fully executed agreement with the property owner to occupy and utilize said property. 3.
