Site work for a road / highway in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) between Mile Post 12.5 and Mile Post 29.8 in Will and DuPage Counties, Illinois. The work under this contract includes the installation of new conduits, fiber optic cables, and communications handholes, as well as site restoration and other associated work. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). A completed Questionnaire and a statement of current contractual obligations on forms supplied by the Illinois Tollway will be required from the apparent low bidder once the apparent low bidder is determined. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount shown in the bid for the contract. The Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of an acceptable bid bond or a bank draft, certified check or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank made payable to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.
