Mainline Pavement Reconstruction, Milepost 154.10 to Milepost 159.80, Cuyahoga County, Ohio Bids Are to Be Submitted in Accordance With the Contract Documents Prepared by the Commission. Failure to Certify a Commitment to Meet the Sbe Goal or Failure to Satisfactorily Demonstrate Good Faith Efforts Used to Attain Sbe Participation for This Project Shall Be Grounds for the Commission to Consider the Bid Nonresponsive and May Cause the Bid to Be Rejected. Pollution Liability Insurance is Required Under Gc Art. 12.1.3 for This Project. Bids Will Be Received for This Project, Which Includes the Following: the Work to Be Performed Under the Contract, if Any is Awarded on the Basis of the Bids, Consists of Removing and Reconstructing the Pavement in the Right Two (2) Lanes and Right Shoulders in Both Eastbound and Westbound Directions of the Ohio Turnpike, Lowering the Mainline Profile Consisting of Pavement Removal and Reconstruction of the All Three (3) Lanes and Two (2) Shoulders in Both Eastbound and Westbound Directions of the Ohio Turnpike Between Mileposts 157.05 to Milepost 157.39 and Resurface the Left Lanes and Left Shoulders of Both Eastbound and Westbound Directions Between Mileposts 154.10 to Milepost 159.80. The Work Includes, but is Not Limited to, Excavating Existing Pavement, Chemically Stabilizing the Subgrade, Constructing Full Depth Pavement, Performing Drainage Repairs and Replacements, Tree Removal, Right of Way Fence Replacement, Installing Concrete Barrier Wall, Asphalt Curbs, Slope Repair, Guardrail, Pavement Markings and Other Traffic Control Devices, Performing Temporary Traffic Control and Minor Lighting Work. All Work is to Be Performed as Per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and Other Contract Documents for This Project. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements Apply to This Project. The Small Business Enterprise (Sbe) Goal Applicable to This Project is 20%.
