The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is issuing solicitation 15BFA025B00000010 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Repair Camp Roofs at the Federal Medical Center (FMC Carswell), located in Fort Worth, Texas. FMC Carswell is a federal correctional facility located at 27066 J Street, Building 3000, Fort Worth, TX 76127. The project consists of the following: 1. The work site includes the camp housing areas in FMC Carswell, which is a United States federal prison for female inmates located in Fort Worth, Texas. The requirement includes the removal of existing roofs and installation of new thermoplastic polyolefin membrane roof systems on approximately 20,640 sqft. The performance period for the project will be 210 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
