Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Design plans call for the construction of a 54,800-square-foot, 250-bed detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
As of November 25, 2025, design underway, construction soon to follow. The City of Kansas City, Missouri ("City") invites you to submit a proposal for Kansas City for design of the Kansas City Municipal Detention and Rehabilitation Center. The new Municipal Detention and Rehabilitation Center facility shall accommodate 250 beds. The minority participation goals on the project are 14% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 14% Women Business Enterprise (WBE).
