As of February 18, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project includes the following work: Construct a new 50,000 gallon water tower, replace the filters and chemical feed apparatus in the existing municipal water treatment plant; install telemetry equipment on both structures; and all related appurtenances, on a site located on the east side of Main Street, between Market and South Streets, within the corporate limits of the Village of Elliott in Ford County. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Village of Elliott, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that 1) not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; 2) The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75; and 3) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Specifically, the Contractor shall complete and return the Intent to Comply with Section 3 Requirements with their submitted Bid. The Village of Elliott reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Elliott for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
