Renovation of a residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
NYS OPWDD-Staten Island DDSO intends to procure the replacement of windows (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. Location: 345 Bradley Avenue Staten Island NY 10314 Question Deadline 01/14/2025 Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov (within two business days of the site visit). Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email by: January 17, 2025. Contract term: 30 Days of Award Remove and discard all existing windows on first and second floors to be replaced. Construction dumpster can be left in driveway. 2. Remove existing window shades / draperies and reinstall at the end of the project. 3. Purchase and install Andersen 100 series or Pella composite replacement windows. Windows to have insect screens (Heavy duty, pet resistant tear type) and window stops. Windows can be delivered directly to the property but must be received by the contractor. Presently there is no indoor storage. Contractor is responsible for care and handling of windows until completion of the project. • Existing vinyl siding and rough opening to remain. Shingles behind vinyl siding and Styrofoam backing is known asbestos containing material (ACM) and cannot be disturbed during construction. • Install wood trim and sill (rounded corners) to interior – paint finish (white enamel gloss). Existing trim and sill can be reused if undamaged. 4. Provide 10% attic stock of spare window screens (Heavy Duty- pet anti tear type), locks, limit stops to facility project manager. 5. Contractor to provide one year written warranty for both parts and labor.
