Reference Number 0000373407 All requests for interpretations should be in writing, and e-mailed to smessale@townofwappingerny.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least seven business (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written Addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be e-mailed to all prospective Bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than three (3) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such Addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such Bidder from any obligation under his/her Bid as submitted. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of all Addenda with the Bid and by not doing so is a cause for rejection of the Bid. This work primarily includes HVAC and Electrical work as described in the attached proposal. This is being bid as a Single-Prime contract for the work of all trades required. The work required by this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and performing all work necessary to complete the Project as herein described. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and in general consists of Primarily HVAC and Electrical Work. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. HVAC Units (Mitsubishi ductless or equivalent) to be installed in upstairs kitchen, learning center, mechanical room, lower-level kitchen and cafeteria; and propane high efficiency boiler with baseboard for the chapel Installation to include a 24K BTU unit for the upstairs kitchen, a 12K BTU unit for the learning center, a 15K BTU unit for the mechanical room, a 36K BTU unit for the lower-level kitchen, and a 48K BTU condenser with 2X 18K BTU and one 12K BTU wall hung units for the cafeteria. All high wall mounted zones. Include condenser pad or wall mounted condenser bracket, line set installation with R410a refrigerant, white colored line hide to conceal outdoor refrigerant lines and improve the buildings aesthetic, 220v high voltage electrical to the condenser, GFI courtesy outlet within 25' of condenser to meet National Electric Code requirements, electric disconnect, whip, condensate lines and drainage, all parts, materials and labor needed for a completed installation. Installation to include a high-efficiency propane boiler for the chapel. Single zone. Baseboard to run around the perimeter of the interior of the building. PVC direct vent to the exterior for fresh air and exhaust. Gas line from propane tank pressure test, tested, and report submitted to the building department. Permits filed in-house. Permit fees waived by Town Board. If you are providing an equivalent brand, state that wherever an equivalent is offered *The Town of Wappinger, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the best interests of the Owner and in accordance with the Law.
