The intent of this project is to develop schematic drawings through final construction documents for the design of a pair of monumental entrance signs at the Kozloski Road Complex in the Township of Freehold. The intent of this project is to design and construct a pair of monumental entrance signs, one at each side of the main complex road, First Responders Way, where it intersects with Kozloski Road at its North end. The primary name on the signs will be the complex name and the names of the main buildings in the complex will be included. Sign materials shall be a combination of options to include the following: brick, stone or cultured stone with precast concrete or stone coping. Signs shall be illuminated with ground mounted lighting and sign lettering shall have backlit illumination. Landscaping elements to be included. Removal of some existing trees and regrading of sign area is required. The existing sidewalk at the South side of First Responders way is to be extended to the corner of Kozloski Road. The Consultant shall prepare their own survey of the site with extent as necessary for all design, construction, and all agency and entity approvals as required. The Consultant and their sub-consultants shall demonstrate their knowledge and ability to be able to perform a thorough Site Analysis of the proposed scope of work areas of the site. Coordination with the Freehold Soil Conservation District and with Freehold Township for a Capital Review may be required. Interested Consultants and their sub-consultants should have specialized expertise and demonstrate extensive experience in this type of monumental site signage and landscaping and shall demonstrate this expertise in their Proposal. The Consultants shall indicate in their Proposal the number of similar type monumental signs that they have designed and shall identify their specific role in those projects.
