Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex Phase 2A-Concession Building HVAC The work site is located at Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex, 3111 Byrne Hollow Crossing, near the intersection with NYS Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following Installation of split system heat pump, energy recovery ventilator, sheet metal ductwork, ductwork insulation, refrigeration piping, condensate piping, electric heaters, electrical wiring and electrical conduit at the existing concession building at Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex to provide heat in the women's and men's restrooms and HVAC to the offices and conference rooms. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). This project is funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993. As such, the following will apply o All bidders are subject to the terms of the State of New York Contract for Grants -- Standard Terms and Conditions, which can be found online at https grantsmanagement.ny.gov state-agency-resources o All bidders are subject to the terms of the State of New York Contract for Grants Appendix A (Standard Clauses For New York State Contracts), Attachment A-1 (Agency Specific Terms and Conditions) and Attachment A-2 (Program Specific Terms and Conditions). o Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. There are no required goals for MWBE participation in this grant funded project, the successful bidder will be required to make a Good Faith Effort in the utilization of MWBE's and furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract. o Upon selection, for all contracts that equal or exceed $100,000, the contractor will be required to submit to the State a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire Construction - For-Profit. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non- responsive or Conditional Bids.
