Specific questions concerning items or procedures in this solicitation shall be submitted electronically. Scope of Work for the Demolition of 3987 College St. * - 6,248 sq. ft.: * CONTAINS ASBESTOS THAT WILL HAVE TO BE ABATED. * **ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE MANDITORY PRE-BID MEETING. ** 3.1.1 Remove structure. 3.1.2 Remove all wired chain gates on left and right side of structure. 3.1.3 Remove black trash bin. 3.1.4 Remove all trash and debris. 3.1.5 LEAVE SIDEWALKS. 3.1.6 LEAVE FOUNDATION. 3.1.7 LEAVE PARKING LOT AND ASPHALT. ** THE REAR UTILITY ROOM HAS LIVE POWER AND MUST BE SEPARATED FROM THE MAIN STRUCTURE DURING THE DEMOLITION. THIS UTILITY ROOM SHALL NOT BE DAMAGED. THIS UTILITY ROOM IS THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR A SEPARATE PROPERTY. THE DEMO CONTRACTOR SHALL WORK IN COOPORATION WITH ENTERGY. ENTERGY WILL PERFORM A TEMPORARY DISONNECT SO THAT THE POWER SUPPLY FOR 3987 COLLEGE CAN BE SAFELY SEVERED FROM THE UTILITY ROOM. THE DEMO CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SEVERING THE POWER SUPPLY. THE DEMO CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE DEMOLITION DOES NOT DISRUPT SERVICE TO THE OTHER STRUCTURE THAT IS SERVICED BY THIS UTILITY ROOM. *** THE UTILITY ROOM IS OUTLINED IN ATTACHED PHOTOS.
