Remodeling of an educational facility in North Richland Hills, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

In Order to Be in Compliance With Federal, State and Local Purchasing Laws, the Birdville Independent School District (Bisd) is Soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for Serving Line Remodel for Green Valley Elementary School. Based on Prior Serving Line Replacements, the Total Estimated Contract is Approximately $250,000. Location: o Green Valley Elementary School - 7900 Smithfield Road Haltom City, TX 76182 This proposal shall be effective from Board Approval through completion of installation. Birdville ISD would like work to begin as soon as possible after the last day of school, May 23, 2024. All work must be complete by July 31, 2025. Location of Green Valley Elementary School: 7900 Smithfield Road, Haltom City, Texas 76182. SERVING COUNTER: Provide one (1) lot Mod-U-Serve counter; size, shape, and arranged as per plan, sections, details, and general specifications, provide unit complete as per the manufacturer's standard specifications with accessories mounted and wired and shipped uncrated, each with the following: A. Provide one (1) Mod-U-Serve model #MCT-MUS-N-C Utility Distribution Wall, including: 1. Modified configuration per provided drawings. 2. 120/208 volts, 3 phase, 60 Amp Circuit 6" AFF. 3. Single point 1/2" cold water connection 8" AFF. 4. Single point 1/2" hot water connection 8" AFF. 5. Single point CAT-5 data connection 8" AFF. 6. All components (counter modules, trayslide, utility wall and utilities) must be factory coordinated and tested for proper fit and function prior to leaving factory. 7. UL approved Electrical chase with interchangeable receptacle plates with point of use breakers. Non-UL approved UDS walls will not be accepted. 8. Separate data cable chase for immediate and future Point of Sale upgrades. 9. All stainless steel utility distribution walls with electrical and plumbing utilities located correctly with adjacent equipment. 10. Cord and plug assemblies on electrical and braided flex hoses and quick disconnects for plumbing. 11. 12" wide 2cm manufactured stone trayslide on fixed polished stainless steel brackets, securely mounted to top of wall and set at 30" above finished floor. Trayslide provided with LED trayslide lights. 12. 3/4 " substrate attached to 3/4 " hat channels on front of utility wall 13. Utility Distribution Wall to be provided with a tile front finish provided and installed by Mod-U-Serve. 14. Mod-U-Serve to incorporate the following turnkey installation components, including the following: Provide Job Insurance. Provide dumpster. Disconnect, demo, and haul off existing serving lines. Demolish existing floor curb. Remove serving area floor tile and replace with approximately 510 square feet of new 6" quarry tile and epoxy grout. Core floor and install one (1) new floor sink and connect to existing plumbing in crawl space. Provide and install copper type L for one (1) new cold water connection. Provide plumbing shut offs. Provide and install 1" copper for drains at the new serving lines. Make final plumbing connections. Disconnect and demo power at existing serving lines, capping and covering any unnecessary utilities. Provide and install one (1) new 120/208v, 3ph, 60 amp circuit for the new serving line. Provide and install one (1) 1" conduit from the new serving line. Remove four (4) existing single doors and one (1) existing double-door. Provide and install four (4) new glass doors and one (1) new double-door, including door closers, push/pull handles and kick stops. Prep and paint all door frames in kitchen/serving areas with two (2) coats of paint. Prep and paint all walls in kitchen/serving area per the district's needs and specification. Clean up all trash and debris. 15. Birdville ISD is responsible for any asbestos reporting, testing, and abatement cost if needed. B. Provide One (1) Mod-U-Serve model #MCT- FT6- MOD flat top unit module, including: 1. Mobile module, size and shape per drawings. 2. 14-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel tops and sound deadening applied between top and frame. Countertop to be height of 34". 3. 16-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel formed end panels with top and bottom horizontal members of 16-gauge, type 304 stainless steel. 18-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel body panels. 18-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel undershelves with 18" high ends and 6" high back. 4. No front panels required for counter modules. 5. One (1) 2cm thick, recessed manufacturer stone flat workspace, large enough to accommodate 18" x 26" sheet pan to be provided. Finish to match trayslide on Utility Distribution Wall. 6. Elite series sneezeguards with adjustable front pivoted tempered full-height glass and tempered glass overshelf. 1" OD round, fully polished stainless steel posts anchored to counter framing. UL listed LED showcase lights with stainless steel support stand and Heat Strip. 7. Three (3) 12" x 20", 1000 watt, hot food wells with infinite controls. Common drain & manifold for three wells. Deck mounted, cold water only fill faucet with mixing valve to be provided. 1" recess to accommodate 18" x 26" sheet pans. 8. One (1) 120 volt duplex convenience outlet is located on the side of the counter. C. Provide One (1) Mod-U-Serve model #MCT-FT3- MOD flat top unit module, including: 1. Mobile module, size and shape per drawings. 2. 14-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel tops and sound deadening applied between top and frame. Countertop to be height of 30". 3. 16-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel formed end panels with top and bottom horizontal members of 16-gauge, type 304 stainless steel. 18-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel body panels. 18-gauge, type 304 series stainless steel undershelves with 18" high ends and 6" high back. 4. No front panels required for counter module. 5. One (1) 2cm thick, recessed manufacturer stone tray pass to be provided, tray pass to be the same finish as the trayslide on Utility Distribution Wall. 6. Two (2) 12" x 20", 700 watt, hot/cold individual food wells with infinite controls, and control switch to designate hot and cold settings. Mechanically cooled wells, with self-contained refrigeration. Common drain & manifold for two wells. Deck mounted, cold water only fill faucet with mixing valve to be provided. Individual drain valves per hot/cold well. 1" recess to accommodate 18" x 26" sheet pans. 7. Elite series sneezeguards with adjustable front pivoted tempered fullheight glass and tempered glass overshelf. 1" OD round, fully polished stainless steel posts anchored to counter framing. UL listed LED showcase lights with stainless steel support stand. 8. 5" locking, swivel casters and line-up locks. 9. Unit to roll up to and fit flush against Utility Wall with Trayslide per plan.
