This project is located at 4728 West Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28208 and consists of demolition of approximately 2000 square feet (sf) of existing office space which will be upfit to 4800 sf of new office space for 40 people that will include offices, a conference room, cubicle spaces, restrooms, and breakroom. Additionally, this project will include site improvements to existing parking areas that require storm water drainage, paving, and striping. The date of commencement of the Work shall be fixed by issuance of a written Notice to Proceed from the Owner to the Contractor. The Contract Time shall be measured from the date of commencement. Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the Work within 180 calendar days from the date of commencement stated in the written Notice to Proceed. Contractor acknowledges that the time for completion of the Work is sufficient for it to perform all the Work. Contractor shall achieve Final Completion, including all required final submittals, no later than 30 calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion. The Contractor Development Program, sponsored by the City of Charlotte - Charlotte Business Inclusion Program is designed to provide guidance to Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises (MWSBEs) and NC DOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in pursuit of contracting opportunities with the City of Charlotte.
