Purpose The Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System (LA-RICS) Authority (Authority) invites bids from qualified firms to provide tower demolition and removal services for the LA-RICS Authority's Land Mobile Radio (LMR) site, San Pedro Hill (SPH), located at 3860-U Crest Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. The LA-RICS Authority recently constructed a new telecommunications tower at this site, which necessitated the need to demolish and remove the existing telecommunications tower. The LA-RICS Authority expects the tower demolition and removal work to be completed within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date of issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) to the resultant Contractor. Additionally, the resultant Contractor will be expected to work closely with the LA-RICS Authority to ensure all requisite permits are obtained to perform the work.
