Reference Number 0000371293 Kendallwood Subdivisions #2 & #4 Water Main Replacement Project Project Start a. Work on 12 Mile Road and New Market Road All work necessary, including pavement, to cross the New Market Road and 12 Mile intersection, the Kendallwood Drive and 12 Mile intersection, and all watermain, services and connections on 12 Mile Road and New Market Road must be done outside of the Farmington Public Schools calendar year (June 17 th - August 17 th ). This work will include the installation of all New Market Road watermain, appurtenances, and services, 12 Mile Road watermain from Station 901+62 to just past Gate Valve 849 (908+90), and just west of Gate Valve 850 (910+00) through Station 923+97, then north through Gate Valve 813 and to Station 63+50 on Kendallwood Drive. All watermain, service leads, connections to existing watermains, appurtenances, concrete paving, concrete curbs, and other pavement for 12 Mile Road and New Market Road can begin on June 17 th , 2025 and must be completed before August 17 th , 2025. Traffic must be open to two-way traffic at the intersections of New Market Road and 12 Mile Road and Kendallwood Drive and 12 Mile Road prior to reopening of the school on 12 Mile Road. The school uses New Market Road and 12 Mile Road for all their traffic and no construction activities are permitted to be taking place that would prevent their normal traffic patterns. All traffic must be brought back to normal conditions prior to the first day of school. The Contractor may begin all other work besides the work described above in the timeframe described in the rest of the contract. Liquidated damages at $1,500 a day will be charged for days past the August 17 th date for the work described above. 2. Substantial Project Completion Other than the delayed acceptance requirements for Turf Establishment, the entire project, including placement of permanent soil erosion control items shall be completed within 220 calendars days from mobilization of equipment to site or by September 1st, 2025, whichever comes first. This shall include all water main, HMA and concrete pavement, HMA or concrete driveways, and restoration. Punchlist items shall be completed within 2 weeks of procurement by the Engineer. 3. Contract Completion All contract work shall be complete, including the delayed acceptance requirements for Turf Establishment 300 calendar days from start of construction or by November 1st, 2025, whichever comes first.
