The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Architectural work - Replacement of the existing control and multi building at Waterloo substation; - Miscellaneous work in the existing building (wall cutting and patching, finishing coatings, etc.). Civil works - Demolition and construction of foundations and reinforced concrete; - Excavation and backfilling, rock excavation; - Concrete blocks for conduits; - Trenches for buried cables; - Extension of substations; - Various civil works. Electrical installation work - Addition of two (2) 120 kV line feeders and the required equipment; - Replacing existing lines on the new feeders; - Replacement of voltage and current transformers; - Replacement of manual disconnectors and MALT disconnectors; - Replacement of 25 kV equipment; - Replacement and addition of auxiliary service transformers; - Miscellaneous electrical work Control work - Replacement of the substation control system with a new compact automation building (CAB) housing CREA technology; - Modifications and installation of panels; - Disconnection, removal, pulling and connection of control cables.
