Tennis Center Subsurface Irrigation and Renovation Project Bid Bond 10% of the bid amount for: Tennis Center Subsurface Irrigation and Renovation Project RFP No. 2024-007 The City is seeking proposals from contractors to provide improvements to the Lighthouse Point Tennis Center as follows: Demolition of the existing seven clay tennis courts, the existing fence surrounding them, and all other site features, such as sidewalks, that conflict with the proposed design. Construction of seven new clay tennis courts, nearly 43,000 SF total. These courts shall be built over the existing ones and elevated, supported by a curb along its edges. Construction of a new galvanized chain link fence surrounding the proposed clay tennis courts. Construction of a subsurface irrigation system that will service the proposed clay tennis courts. Construction of new sidewalks and concrete pads Removal of the old stormwater management system and installation of a new one. The proposed project site is an approximately six-acre parcel located at 3500 NE 27 Avenue, Lighthouse Point, Florida 33064 Contractor must furnish evidence of having a minimum of five (5) years experience in installing tennis courts. It will be the sole responsibility of the Proposer to clearly mark proposal as such, and ensure that the proposal reaches the City prior to the proposal opening date and time listed. One (1) original and three (3) copies, and a flash drive, must be submitted in sealed packaging and clearly marked Tennis Center Subsurface Irrigation and Renovation Project on all packaging, including any outer shipping package or envelope. Any uncertainty regarding the time a proposal is received will be resolved against the Proposer. The City of Lighthouse Point reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities and irregularities, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as they deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lighthouse Point, or the City may reject proposals and re-advertise.
