The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these specifications and shown on the Plans. The major estimated items of work include: surface preparation and repainting of the interior wet surfaces; surface preparation and repainting of interior dry surfaces; surface preparation and repainting of exterior surfaces; installation of Class 2A containment, perform foundation repairs; install roof rails; remove and replace roof vacuum vent; install new insect screens; remove and relocate coaxial cables, cellular antennas and SCADA antennas; install new antenna corral; and perform any additional work outlined in Section 1000 (Summary of Work) of these specifications. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Burlington, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Burlington for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Payment, Performance and Maintenance Bonds upon the award of Contract. The signed proposal form and bid security must be delivered to the Office of the Township Engineer, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building on or before the hour named above. The Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Township Council, makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
