Furnishing all tools, materials and labor, and performing the work necessary to construct the Public Streets & Utilities for The Trails Subdivision project. Project consisting generally of provision of materials & labor for construction ofpublic streets as well as storm water, sanitary sewer, and potable water infrastructure, and the establishment oferosion control measures to prepare an approximate 68-acre site for residential development in accordance with the proposed Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications. Please note: The Municipal Building Lobby is open to the public; the remainder of the building is secured. Upon entering the Municipal Building, please checkin at the Neighborhood Services window or the Customer Service window and ask for the City Clerk. No electronic documents will be mailed until payment is received in full. A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails,neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project,and furnish the necessary bonds within thirty (30) days from and after the date the award is made. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish public liability and workmen's compensation insurance. Additionally, for bids in excess of $100,000, performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds acceptable to the City, in conformity with the requirements of the proposed contract documents will berequired. The performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds shall be for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
