Kannapolis Downtown Sewer Outfall Replacement/Rehabilitation - Phase II Job No. 062000092.00 Estimate value - $3,750,000. Description: The overall project length is 6,843 liner feet and consists of 4,751 linear feet of 8", 362 liner feet of 12", 1,228 liner feet of 18" and 502 linear feet of 24" existing sewer main of various material. Approximately 600 linear feet of 8" sewer main will be upgraded to 18" under an on-going NCDOT Municipal Agreement related to the widening of NC-3. The project consists of a total of approximately 4,151 linear feet of 8" sewer main remaining to be replaced. The project consists of the following: 1. Replacing the 8" sewer main with 18" PVC/HDPE pipe using a combination of conventional dig and replace as well as pipe bursting. 2. Determine if the existing 12", 18" and 24" sewer mains need to be rehabilitated.
