The City of Issaquah Department of Public Works is procuring consultant services to provide construction management, construction engineering, and construction inspection services for the Newport Way Landslide (ER-2003(089)) project. The project agreement will be for the construction phase of the project. Newport Way Landslide Project: This project is located along Newport Way NW between NW Oakcrest Dr and SR 900. The project will include landslide debris removal, grading, and construction of a soldier pile retaining wall. This project is federally funded (Federal Aid number ER-2003(089)). City project number is TR060. The project has federal funding through WSDOT. The project bidding closed on January 16, 2025 and is expected to construct in the Spring/Summer of 2025. Schedule Design is completed with construction starting in Spring/Summer 2025. Project construction is anticipated to be completed within 60 working days, starting around April/May 2025. Consultants should provide a detailed Scope of Services in their submitted Proposal as necessary to reflect the approach in which they intend to provide the required professional services for the project. • Provide construction management support, project administration, material testing, and inspection to ensure execution of construction activities in accordance with project plans, contract provisions, and WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines for state funded projects. • Facilitate preconstruction conference for the project and weekly meetings with the contractors and subcontractors, City of Issaquah, WSDOT, and utility agencies, and project stakeholders and prepare associated documents including agendas, sign-in sheets, and meeting minutes. • Coordinate with City Project Manager, WSDOT, utility agencies, contractor representatives, interested parties, business, and other municipal employees the various needs of the project and issues that may arise during the construction contracts. • Review, monitor, and log contracting documentation for the project, including contractors and subcontractors written contracts and Statements of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages. • Track project commitments and compliance with permit conditions. • Prepare project files and documentation per WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines Deadline for questions Tuesday, February 18, 2025 Submitted to Public Purchase by 3 pm
