Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brielle, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of February 11, 2025, project was awarded to Fernandez Construction, Inc., awarded amount is $598,974.93.** Work of the project shall include mobilization, traffic control, roadway milling and repaving, concrete curb replacement, concrete sidewalk replacement, driveway apron replacement, site restoration, demobilization, and miscellaneous associated tasks for Fisk Avenue. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to the Borough of Brielle. Packaging and shipping costs are additional and shall be borne by the Bidder. Bids must be made in the standard proposal form in the manner designated herein and as required by the Specifications that must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: Clerk, Borough of Brielle, clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: NJDOT FY 2023 & 2024 MUNICIPAL AID PROJECT - IMPROVEMENTS TO FISK AVENUE - PHASE I AND PHASE II. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond, made payable to Borough of Brielle, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an acceptable surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance (100%), Payment (100%) and Maintenance Bonds upon award of this Contract. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such Bidder who, in the judgement of the Borough of Brielle makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. Public Bid Opening and Reading shall commence immediately following bid receipt term in the Borough Council Chambers at the same address as receipt of bids.
