On-Call Consultant Services for Aviation Programs The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. The full scope of work, instructions, and requirements for the upcoming RFQ will be posted as indicated below in the anticipated schedule*. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA. Statewide planning, infrastructure implementation projects, or services in the areas of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), Urban Air Mobility (UAM), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM), Safety Management Systems (SMS) and other new technologies resulting from aircraft in this classification. Detailed studies in these areas that would impact the state's aviation system or help to advance new technology to improve air transportation and/or intermodal connections would be a part of future tasks. These studies will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular and Engineering Briefs that would assist in the formulation of future scopes of work. These studies would help the state formulate action plans, blueprints, cost estimates and implementation plans providing tools necessary to continue improving Georgia's airport system. The Team (either the Prime Consultant and/or one or more of their sub-consultant team members) MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below Exhibits: 1. Aviation Planning 2. Aviation Infrastructure Support GDOT reserves the right to modify all information provided in this PNA in the forth-coming RFQ at its sole discretion Summary of Scope of Work: The Consultant(s) shall provide professional aviation systems planning and engineering services and develop and prepare specialty studies supporting Georgia's Aviation Program for the Georgia Department of Transportation's Division of Intermodal. The solicitation will be structured to include the following exhibits, representing groupings of potential projects with different requirements; as a result, contracts may be awarded to multiple Consultants. From the advertisement date of this Public Notice Announcement, through the posting of the RFQ, until successful respondents are selected and the award is made official and announced, firms are not allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending respondent. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
